I wrote this about myself in the third person—how pretentious!
Leah Chang holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University's College of Fine Arts School of Music, where she studied piano with Edith Stearns Trask and organ with Max B Miller. During her summer as a Tanglewood Fellow, Leah's teachers and mentors included Leon Fleisher and Lukas Foss. She also holds a diploma in organ performance from the International Summer Academy for Organists in Haarlem, The Netherlands; Luigi Tagliavini and Piet Kee were Leah's primary instructors at Haarlem.
As a choral, vocal, and instrumental accompanist, and as a leader of music in the Sunday Assembly, Leah employs a wide and varied repertoire ranging from German and French Baroque through 19th Century European and New World Romantic to 20th Century American and evocative stylings of contemporary Christian special favorites.
In addition to her passion for public performance, Leah enjoys teaching students of all ages, from beginner to artist level.
